GULLWING's owners have over 60 years combined experience in the horse industry.

Sharon Skelly has over 30 years experience in the horse world, having started out with hunters, then moved to the Morgan breed. Her Morgan background includes show horses - she has shown winners in Road Hack, English, Classic and Western pleasure and In Hand. She has also been involved in the sport horse disciplines, working with hunter, dressage and carriage driving horses. Sharon is a member of the NY Morgan Regional show committee and the WNY Morgan Show committee; having served on one or both since 1999. Sharon was elected to an AMHA Region 2 director position at the 2010 AMHA annual membership meeting.

Mike Kropp has 30+ years experience with horses, having produced show ring champions in Hunter, Western and English pleasure, and In-Hand. He has also coached and instructed amateur and junior exhibitor riders to top honors in their divisions.
In his first appearance at the Morgan Grand National - as a junior exhibitor, he garnered a top 10 in the Open Mares Western Pleasure. That same year, he was the NYSMHS High Point Equitation Champion, Reserve High Point Junior Exhibitor Western Pleasure, and Reserve High Point Western Pleasure. Mike is a former Western District director of the New York State Morgan Horse Society, served on the show committee for the NY Morgan Horse Show for 6 years, and is currently the show chairman for the Western NY Morgan Show, which is held each spring over Memorial Day weekend.
