GULLWING is the culmination of years of planning and dreaming. The farm itself came into existence in May 2001, but the involvement in horses, particularly with Morgans, started long before that. Both GULLWING's owners have long involvement with horses, and between them, they have shown Western, Hunter, English, Classic Pleasure, and In Hand horses, owning and training champions in Morgans, Arabians and Quarter Horses.

So what's with the name and a bird for a horse farm logo? Well, Sharon's other hobby is birdwatching, and she has a particular fondness for gulls. In November every year, gulls congregate along the Niagara River, and gull watching fanatics do as well. Mike suggested the farm name to reflect her other hobby. The logo? That's a Sabine's Gull, the bird that turned Sharon into one of those gull watching fanatics.

We invite you to stop by and visit, either at the farm or at a show.
